In this workshop Kim will provide supplies & guidance to create your very own no sew eye pillow !
Once our eye pillows are complete we will use them to support our Yoga Nidra practice.
Yoga Nidra is a deep meditative state that offers space from the mind to transcend beyond consciousness & subconsciousness, through guided awareness, and guided imagery. Yoga Nidra has been said to increase awareness of sensation, and connection to breathing, sending signals to your brain to soften in to deep relaxation through nervous system regulation.
The DIY eye pillows we will create will add an additional component of deep release & restoration.
Filled with organic jasmine rice and assorted herbs & oils , our eye pillows help to regulate your nervous system, mood, digestion, and heart through the gentle penetration of our vagus nerve . This cranial nerve responds to the light pressure resting on your eyelids and sends a message of relaxation & pleasure along the right side of your neck to your visceral organs & bodily systems.
Pairing our creative expressions with Yoga Nidra will leave us refreshed and recharged as we nurture ourselves preparing for the busy summer months ahead.
Events/Workshops/Ticketed Events Cancellation Policy: If you can no longer attend an event you have signed up for, you must provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to the event start time for a full refund. You will be charged for the event and no refund will be issued if you cancel your event reservation less than 24 hours before event start time. Most Events, Workshops & Ticket Classes have limited space. Canceling last minute affects our ability to get these tickets out to others and fill the event.
